Talk to Hutch
Where do you work?

Hutch works across South East, South and South West, and East London, including the areas in our service directory. Send your postcode so we can confirm availability for your project.

Do I need drawings before contacting you?

No. You can start with an idea or an existing set of plans. Share what you have and we can discuss the next steps.

Is the online estimate a fixed quotation?

No. The estimator gives an indicative budget based on project type and selected allowances. Your fixed quotation follows a review of the property and an agreed scope.

How are payments arranged?

Payments are divided into stages in your project agreement. The amounts and triggers depend on the type and scope of work.

Can we stay at home during the work?

That depends on the scope, site access and whether essential rooms can remain usable. We discuss disruption and the intended sequence before the programme is agreed.

What if I want to change something?

Tell your project lead. We will discuss the cost and programme implications and agree the change in writing before carrying out the additional work.

How long will my project take?

The programme depends on the design, specification, access and approvals. Our project archive shows examples; your own programme is agreed for your scope.

Can you work with my architect or drawings?

Yes. Share the drawings and specifications with your enquiry so they can be reviewed alongside the proposed work.

What happens at the end?

We review the work, agree any snagging and discuss the relevant handover documents and final payment requirements.

What should I send with my enquiry?

Your postcode, project type, a brief description, an approximate budget and preferred timing are useful. You can attach photographs and plans in your email.
